What exactly is a Dental Implant?
A dental implant is a remarkable solution to replace missing teeth. Crafted from titanium, this screw-like device seamlessly mimics the function of a natural tooth root. The implant is surgically placed into the jawbone, providing a stable foundation for a replacement tooth. Individuals who have lost one or more teeth often find dental implants to be a highly effective and natural-looking restoration.
Can Everyone Benefit from Implants?
Dental implants are accepted by the human body and they fuse with the jawbone so there is a secure foundation for a replacement. However, dental implants are not suitable for everyone. The implanting devices must bond with the jawbone,so a person’ s bones must be healthy before they can undergo implant surgery.
Overcoming Bone Deficiency with Expert Solutions
For those with inadequate bone levels, various techniques come to the rescue. Bone grafting and sinus lifting are surgical procedures designed to prepare the gum and jaw for dental implants. These interventions significantly enhance the chances of a successful implant procedure, overcoming challenges related to bone deficiency.
Pain-Free Implant Procedures
Concerned about discomfort during the implant procedure? Rest assured. Dental implant surgeries are virtually pain-free, thanks to the use of effective anesthetics. Your dentist ensures your comfort throughout the process. Comprehensive aftercare instructions are provided to minimize any discomfort and reduce the risk of infections, ensuring a smooth recovery.
Durability of Dental Implants
Dental implants are not just a temporary fix—they are as durable as natural teeth and have the potential to last a lifetime. Firmly attached to the jaw, implants eliminate concerns about slipping or rubbing. This stability allows you to enjoy your favorite foods without restrictions, providing the confidence of a strong, reliable set of teeth.
Proper Care for Implants
Maintaining dental implants is simple. Treat them like your natural teeth—regular brushing, flossing, and routine dental cleanings and checkups are essential. By following these practices, you can ensure the longevity and health of your restored smile, preserving the benefits of dental implants for years to come.

Implementation Step by Step
- Implant placement is considered a small outpatient surgery and lasts approximately 1-2 hours.
- It does not strain the healthy body. In a large percentage of cases, the procedure is performed under local anesthesia. The surgery does not involve any pain or discomfort. After the operation, there may be post-pain, which usually disappears on the day of the operation, or you may experience moderate pain lasting 1-2 days, which can be completely eliminated with an analgesic.
- The panoramic X-ray is essential during the planning of the treatment, because based on the image we get information about the bone mass and anatomical formulas (location of the facial cavity, course of nerves). We can only decide by the results whether the implantation can be performed successfully.
Next step – planning the implementation
- Is it necessary to remove a tooth before implantation?
- How much bone do we have – do we need bone augmentation?
- What is the location of the sinus – is it necessary to perform a sinus lift?
- How many implants will be placed?
- What type of implants shall we use?
- Which method of implantation shall we use? (immediate, delayed or late implantation following the tooth extraction)
The implant(s) are inserted under local anesthesia and deep sedation is also available at our clinics. The combınatıon perıod between the implant and the bone takes place in 3-6 months, only then the artificial root can be loaded with security, i.e. the abutment can be placed then. On the abutments we can connect the crowns.
